Warranty

The video shown above is a clock made by General Electric (GE) in 1950 which is still working after 50 + years.

We don't think it is reasonable to offer just one year warranty for consumer products because customers would have to make purchases every year. Our metal detectors come with lifetime warranty. What does this mean? American Hawks metal detectors are unconditionally guaranteed for life. In the lifetime of the metal detector, we will fix or exchange it free of charge.

Please note that our warranty does not extend to those items identified as standard "wear and tear" items (i.e. leather case or batteries). In addition, our warranty does not cover damages caused by consumer abuse, neglect or ignorance.

Return Policy:

Please keep the shipping carton and metal detector gift box when you receive the product. If you don't like the item, simply return it within 30 days with everything packed in the original packing. No questions asked. All we ask is that you respect our product.

Email us for a RMA number and send it back prepaid. We will offer a full refund minus the original shipping & handling charge. All returned metal detectors will be sold to our dealers who sell refurbished models. Again, all we ask is that you respect our product. If we find that the returned product was abused, we will charge re-stocking fee.
